There are 3 different pages to choose from to suit your audience. The difference is in the objects that are advertized. So you can have a page of adverts for children or adults. To perform the effect, you will need a deck of cards (or similar), a board to pin the selected advert on to, and a pair of novelty x-ray specs sealed in a package. A spectator is invited on stage and asked to select a card, which is put in an envelope and pinned to a board. The performer brings out a page of adverts ripped out of a comic book or stag magazine. The spectator is asked to rip each advert off the page, to choose one and stick it to the board. Attention is then drawn to a sealed package that has been on display the whole time. To everyone's amazement - inside the package is a set of novelty x-ray specs - the product advertised in the selected advert! To test the effectiveness of the x-ray specs you put them on and see through the enveloped pinned to the board, reading the face of the card inside! Includes an alternative effect in which a choosen comic book hero (or anything you like) appears on the back of a item randomly picked from the advertisements (not the x-ray specs!).
